The birth of North Coast Place.

It all started around 2008 in a 400-square-foot studio apartment beside a ski hill that we called home. At the time, tiny home living was out of necessity but we found ourselves enjoying a whole new way of life. New experiences brought us happiness, and we found that life not tied to materials left us feeling lighter and more joyful. 

Along with our two kids and dog, we all lived in 400 square feet for two years, all along learning to live the lifestyle that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the joys of hiking, biking, and exploring nature around us. Ever since our experience back then, we have kept a minimalistic and simplistic feel in our home and lifestyle.

Keeping this tiny home living in mind when thinking of a unique way to bring more living opportunities to the Marquette area along with goals of functionality and sustainability, we created the serviced apartment community—North Coast Place. A place where anyone who wants to enjoy the simple, minimalistic lifestyle can pack a bag and experience what the Marquette area has to offer.
